Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • When I bought my open-back Goodtime and finally had a truly well-made, quality, nice sounding, playable banjo in my hands for the first time, I just wanted to play it all the time
  • This is exactly what we wanted for our first good quality starter banjo.
  • My only "issue" is that it doesn't come with an armrest, and that Deering has designed it so that you can only use a Deering armrest (some custom makers have also released products, but they are far more expensive than Deering's armrest), but that is a simple fix, and really doesn't take away from the phenomenal quality and playability of this instrument
  • I didn't spend a large amount of money on it, but I still got a quality product that will encourage me to continue learning and exploring the wonderful world of banjo music

Reviews around time (3.61 of 5)

  • I have been weighting for retirement to trade in my open back Harmony 5 string on a 300 buck good-time
  • 14 pounds gets tiresome and limits my practice time.
  • Getting faster all the time.. easy to
  • I suggest anyone who is considering purchasing an entry level banjo who doesn't want to spend a month's mortgage to pick up the instrument give the deering good time banjos a solid look
