This product is obviously a huge failure on their part which may explain why this model has only lasted 1 year and they updated with another model and this was from the previous S2440L which was also a failed model that this was the direct
It's a great product at a great price if you don't care about how crisp your picture is or if you're sitting further away and using it as a TV.

Having used TNs for years, I have grown particularly tired of the drab colors and color "shifting" with slight tilts of my head
I did try it for a PlayStation 4 and i have to say the color is crazy, love everything about how the gloss screen made it kinda pop, or it could be the IPS panel who knows, but one thing i noticed was there was like a Black trail when i would move the system menu very
Using an HDMI connection, I needed to find color settings in my graphics card control panel to unlock full color (versus TV-style limited color range) which got me a wonderfully bright, high contrast image
My last monitor had horrible gamma and poor black levels / color, so believe me, calibrated is a good thing
The picture quality is great, and the colors are nice and vibrant
As you can see from the pics I put I tilted the monitor to show you the worst it an be, this is hot summer right now around Christmas time for me with blazing sun and glare as you can see once you do not purposely set up your monitor to reflect the outside or a light source you will have no issues at all

This screen is extraordinarily bright, almost too bright
It's pretty minor, and has a very smooth gradation which helps it from popping through unless the screen is very very dark

This is a beautiful screen, absolutely clear resolution
For the record Glossy Screens are Superior to Matte in everyway because Matte is basically a hard coating they put on the beautiful LCD to deflect light hitting the screen the positive side is no reflections but downside is it creates a nasty haze and damages your eyes over time
It arrived today and gone is the eye strain and headaches.
Greys which were darker on my old monitor were lighter, and full brightness/contrast, which I had been using on my old one hurt my eyes
