Only the HDMI port supports the Dell HDR feature at 60hz
If the features I listed above are important to you, go with the Dell
If this is an important feature for you, be sure your PC has HDMI 2.0 port(s).Overall, if you're in the market for a midrange UHD/4K display, your best bet is either this one or the LG 27UD68P-
The thin bezels are a great feature that add a factor of immersion to the display
Things of possible importance:The "Smart HDR" feature is greyed out in the menu if you don't connect via HDMI
I love the resolution, pixel density and the thin bezels
People say 4k is overkill for documents and office work, but when you put a couple of full pages of text on screen, having resolution high enough to make small fonts clear is really important
I love the thin bezel and 4K resolution, but the color shifting and image retention issues may be deal-breakers for me.

I understand that they cannot guarantee zero dead pixels, but four together should have caused this screen to be rejected.
Four dead pixels in a row near the center of my screen means there is a noticeable black streak which is quite annoying.
I couldn’t find any dead pixels, and there’s only minor backlight bleed along the bottom, left, and right edges (for thin monitors like this one, a little bleeding is pretty much unavoidable)
Also, NO dead pixels, NO backlight bleed, none of the panel issues that monitors can suffer from
All of that is behind me now, I've decided to join the real world and get a display that is not glossy, not retina, not OLED, just good old fashioned pixels with a matte finish.
I'll start by saying I would give this monitor 4.5 stars if possible due to excessive backlight bleed with the first monitor I received
I got two of these monitors about a year ago, there is some bleeding like other customers, I have heavy backlight bleeding on these, but the other issue that is more annoying is the image burn in that I get
Also, NO dead pixels, NO backlight bleed, none of the panel issues that monitors can suffer from
Viewing angles are poor, light bleed is a slight problem, and it doesn't have anything like the contrast you might expect from something calling
