Otherwise this is a fast, beautiful machine with the best display on a laptop that money can buy.

Expected a bit faster for being top end machine

I totally recommend this machine to anyone who need a powerful and working laptop.

And I have little confidence that the machine I'll get back in the mail will even be 100% working at this point

Dealing with this defective machine became a part time job

i had purchased this for my son, hes going through an architecture program, and he was looking for a portable, yet powerful machine, we researched very many like it but this one stood out from others such as the HP Spectre 360, Surface Book, and Lenovo Yoga

Excellent machine (5 stars), except for the wifi which is sometimes unstable (Killer) as per other reviews (drops down to 3 stars).Most of the time the wifi fine, but sometimes it start loses packets randomly and need to reset the adapter to get it back working.

However, I"m not too happy about the 4k screen, it costs a lot extra, but it takes weeks to get one of the 1080p versions, time I didn't have

They are all relatively fast compared to the old spinning hard disks, but when you pay for a premium product you expect it to work as it was advertised via the reviewers

The USB-C port is a fully featured one, not just USB 3.0 with a C connector - it supports alternative modes for output display and so forth
