This machine just does not have what you need to make a decent cup of espresso or a cappuccino
Using Lavazza espresso and this machine makes a great cappuccino
After spilling my milk trying to get it under the steam spigot, I now strategically place the machine next to the sink which works well to blow out the water as well as to get my cup under.
It makes fantastic cappuccino, espresso, and Americano.
Espresso and Cappuccino like the sp;ecialty coffee shops
(It is important to understand that although the espresso looks the same the Crema is not genuine with a pressurized portafilter.
This espresso machine makes delicious frothy crema for single or double shot espresso
The handle is plastic which is prone to breaking as it is very difficult to lock in the mechanism
I’ve heard to use freshly ground beans but I’m on a budget and can’t afford a

I did quite a bit of research before getting this one and honestly, I thought the prices were ridiculous for these machines that seem super complicated to use or didn't have the best
Overall, not worth the price, if it were
This is a cheap machine and that is evident in the cheap price.
Definitely not worth the price
Otherwise, it is a nice high pressure espresso andcappucino maker for a reasonable price.
You'll have to get some practice tamping the grounds because if you tamp them too hard, you get water overflow and a bad shot
:)I love this little machine as it is very easy to clean, easy to use and makes a great shot of espresso
If you are buying this machine, don’t forget to buy a carafe or espresso shot glasses, espresso tamper, and a coffee grinder if you are going to grind your own beans
I wasted three servings trying to get this machine to make a good shot
We have struggled with this espresso maker for over a month trying to figure out how to get a good shot of espresso

I have turned the machine so the wand is over the edge of the counter, that works, and I’ve also steamed the milk directly in my short/fat ceramic latte cup.
So far this machine is a great little workhorse and makes a perfect latte
Easier than I thought to use, make good quality espresso and latte
but I cannot find a better espresso maker for $62 (including shipping and taxes
It is built better than cheap espresso makers but isn't designed any better
When my expensive coffee maker broke down after a year of use, and trying to get it back to work proved more expensive, I decided on this little De’Longhi which is less than a third the price
I love this espresso maker so much that this is my second one!
I have had cheap cappucino makers in the past and they all broke
Easier than I thought to use, make good quality espresso and latte
Overall quality substandard compared to my expectations.
Poor build quality, plastics with details and edges that don't line up, very noisy operation.good steam and regular pressure to extract a good espresso.
As you can see in the video, the quality of the espresso is not good

like others have said a great starter machine but not 1 to keep for life the space is so short you cant put anything underneath except shot glasses for the espresso... honestly the steamer is short too so you have to prop it up and have a shallower milk frothing cup to use properly
The pump is noisy and vibrates the cup away from the espresso stream.
The vibration is LOUD and moves my espresso cups out from where I place them (so it sometimes misses the cup and I waste a shot), but just keep your eye on
Fair (not great) cup of espresso (bitter is there but lack in flavor)
For a budget friendly machine this is perfect, it makes a great cup of espresso, it's as easy as possible to use, and it fits just about anywhere
I bought the highly recommended Lavazza Crema e Gusto Ground Coffee Blend, Espresso Dark Roast and whoa doggie it is strong
As the volume increases to about two thirds began slowly reducing to avoid any large bubbles, being ready to cut to fully off before any can appear...large bubbles are froth killers.
I use Lavazza Crema e gusto coffee and its wonderful! Caio ~
The minute you insert the wand into the milk you can hear the steam dying down and within 15 seconds it is only blowing large bubbles into the milk, as if you blowing into a straw with your mouth.
You are reading snippets from reviews of De'Longhi 15 bar Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker, Black
No other entry level machine can do this.original review:The right beans- medium roast, blenb of arabica and robusta (need robusta to get a excellent crema), best to buy whole beans and grind yourself (use a mill not a blade grinder, oxo makes an excellent mill for $100 on amazon) and use a fine espresso grind, the best bean I have found is 'Lavazza Gran espresso' sold on amazon.
Really grind your beans for good water flow over the espresso.
I’ve heard to use freshly ground beans but I’m on a budget and can’t afford a
What's not to love about the smell of freshly ground coffee beans and hot, frothy milk
Make sure to get excellent beans and press hard on the grind before putting into machine to get crema.

The steam wand doesn't work well and it didn't come with a steaming pitcher

It got noisier and the coffee doesn't taste as good as in the previous machine I had (which broke).
I bought the highly recommended Lavazza Crema e Gusto Ground Coffee Blend, Espresso Dark Roast and whoa doggie it is strong
It vibrates a little and sometimes it makes the cup you are filling with espresso
I am so pleasantly surprised by this amazing little
It vibrates a little but if you wet a paper towel and put it under your glass it holds the glass nicely
My only complaints are that the machine shakes a little while shots are pouring, the manual might address this issue but it hasn't bothered me enough to look it up
No idea what caused the espresso machine to fail (the pump still makes noise), but I honestly think this machine is designed with parts that fail after 1 year.
First one lasted me 5 years before the pump stopped working.
The pump is noisy and vibrates the cup away from the espresso stream.
This is my second one, none of them lasted more than a year, year and a half, the pump failed both times
The machine is very light, and vibrates quite a bit during operation.
The first use took a bit of time, and the machine shook a bit
During the brewing cycle, the machine vibrates quite a bit, this causes the glass to bounce around, so I typically hold it with a free hand to keep it in position
The machine does shake a bit when pulling shots but again, not that big a deal for me
The tamping tool is now an integral bit of plastic attached to the right of the brewing handle sooooo
I loved the machine while it was working but the fact that it stopped working for no reason after less than a year is extremely disappointing
Works exactly as I expected and is saving me hundreds of dollars i would be spending at starbucks!

I don’t like the fact that you have to turn it off to stop the brewing

Snapping the water tank back properly is kinda critical
After I received this espresso machine, (and read over all the care and directions that came with it, as well as watched several YouTube reviews), the handle on the water tank cracked as I pushed it down into the machine for the first time
I very much loved it however after 3 months of use the water tank which is plastic has melted and has a hole in it
