De'Longhi KG89 Burr Coffee Grinder with Grind Selector and Quantity Control

    • Good design, simple, easy to operate and adjust.
    • Nice design
    • Product is really good, the design is very good, very textured, stainless steel material, especially on the seal of the cover, for the coffee at the end of the ground when grinding the dust played a sealing effect, very good design
    • It's also really well designed with option for a very fine grind which I prefer, and feels sturdy and well built.
    • Pros, compared to the Cuisinart: quieter operation; better contained bin; better range of grinds (coarse is coarser, albeit with fine grounds included); more compact design; smoke-colored plastic so the clinging grinds aren't as visible; slightly shorter grind time; emptying grounds is not quite as messy
    • There is critical design flaw with this grinder in that it shuts down if everything is not completely clean on the safety sensors.

    • The design is compact and attractive, and it seems reasonably well made.
    • poorly designed, messy, if the lid isn't just right it shuts off really not a convenient quick little grinder
    • I love the design of the ground coffee hopper bin, our previous Capresso was messy
    • The static problem, coupled with the strange hopper/chute design means that you'll end up wiping your counters every day after use and every other time you walk by.
    • My husband already gets grinds everywhere, but the design made it ten times worse
    • Overall I think the DeLonghi Grinder is a well designed product which I'd recommend.
    • Plus love the modern minimalistic design.
    • The design is elegant but simple
    • The design must have been improved because my model doesn't spill any grounds on the counter at all
    • My two upgrade wishes would be a true anti-static plastic container (it makes a static-e mess at times) and being able to get a finer grind for espresso
    • Not sure why the product details show a 4 cup minimum as I can grind as little as 24 g of coffee with a 2 cup setting on the grinder.
