The Airframe is still a great mount that gets recommended a lot, but if you'd rather not spend the $30-$40 then the Bestrix does all the same things, and more, for a much lower cost.

Don't recommend any car air vent mount for cell phones

After my original rating I had just decided I would just do without a vent mount until i had time to do more research.

It has a rotational feature which is pretty cool, but when you mount your phone a simple hard turn while driving is enough to rotate the mount and distract you since you have to reset it to the right position again

In applications where one does not need a ball and socket to adjust angles, I strongly prefer this mount to the ones that did have a ball and socket adjustment

The vent cone grips have two different sized slots for a very secure mount in a variety of vent styles

The mount could not have been any easier to install and would seem to fit all sorts of vent since the attachments are on a swivel.

I find that mount works pretty well, but you need to put your vent at a vertical position, otherwise the weight of it and the phone eventually closes the vent
