Reviews around gold (5.00 of 5)

  • I immediately preferred the Gold over the silver, and in fact I pretty much had zero interest in the silver once I heard it
  • Each of us independently assessed that the Gold is much better than the Silver.
  • For us, after a year with the Phantoms, both Silvers and Golds now merit 5 stars though the Gold is better
  • I do find the Gold a worthwhile upgrade in particular with better treble extension, faster transients, increased resolution, and more natural sound
  • During listening tests, which we prefer depends on the piece with the majority of the time preferring the Gold.

Reviews around look (5.00 of 5)

  • I own 2 of these futuristic looking, white with chrome speakers with the Dialog box as well
  • It does not scream the traditional boxy speaker look - and seem more like an art piece.b
  • It's quite modern-looking, like a gigantic chrome-plated dinosaur egg
  • Volume can go loud, good sound, quirky looks, deep bass, heavy, unique sound (somewhat), good customer support, easy set up with Bluetooth (some quirks), omnidirectional sound (not quite), expensive, set up on their spark application (some difficulty and working on it) and packaging is nice
  • Overall, we prefer the look of the White and Gold version with the white bass drivers making the entire speaker look like an orb.

Reviews around design (4.26 of 5)

  • But it can be a valid way to add mass to a woofer (not usually by plastic cladding mind you) to improve low bass (at the expense of sensitivity - this is a very insensitive design, clearly) so I'll let that slide.
  • I can really recommend this system due to the incredible design and soundquality
  • It's not just about the pure aesthetic design of their products, it's about sound quality and continous innovation in that matter.2
  • These simply do not look like the classic speaker-box design
  • It's got some cool tech and interesting design, but it's just bad.

Reviews around audio (4.10 of 5)

  • This disclosure brews either respect or disrespect as some people view people like me as biased
  • I would even say GREAT audio!I stumbled upon this product when I was in a high-end audio store in Los Angeles, buying speaker wire (spent $500 on the wire...got the cheap
  • So clear the audio you do not notice the db level - FANTASTIC
  • Chromecast Audio Googles new ChromeCast Audio works with the Devialet system via optical cable
  • Much has written about Phantom performance as a music speaker and my purpose here is talk about the Phantom as your 1 audio source for your all your entertainment needs beyond being blown away by the drum part kicking in on In the Air Tonight by your Phantom’s

Reviews around phantoms (4.03 of 5)

  • Bravo!Currently, with all the releases, the Phantoms are very stable in my environment.
  • A number of users note that they tend to turn the Phantoms louder than their other system because they just stay pleasantly linear when the volume rises
  • The Phantoms are just phenomenal speakers (the best in my opinion) for streaming music over your

  • After a quick listen between the Phantom and my other favorite system, she said, "I prefer the Phantoms

Reviews around value (3.86 of 5)

  • I believe overall, most systems equal to the Phantoms will cost more, making the Phantoms a very good value
  • Great value compared to most other setups that I have looked at over the years.
  • This disclosure brews either respect or disrespect as some people view people like me as biased
  • However, if you seek better systems which then scales up considerably in cost, then the Phantom can be a very good value
  • Compared to other systems in its price range, I believe that the Phantom offers remarkable value - better return than any other system I have tested

Reviews around devialet (3.82 of 5)

  • Perhaps Devialet will have to improve their Dialog with a new version as this does not seem to be resolved via software updates
  • I believe that Devialet will do well to incorporate user controlled equalization into the Spark software.
  • Speakers are easy to set up, look great (I have them mounted on Devialet tree) and sound amazing.
  • Devialet has been awarded in many occasions for their high-end amps

Reviews around quality (3.79 of 5)

  • Great loud speaker nice sound quality great when having a party I recommend this to anyone that wants a great speaker
  • The sound quality is very good, though I'm not an audiophile
  • If not, the quality of the sound will not overcome the inconsistency of not being able to play what it should when it should
  • Awesome sound - unbelievable quality and simplicity in design.
  • I am not an audiophile by any means, yet even at it's highest volume, the sound quality was crystal clear and with no ambient distractions

Reviews around music (3.75 of 5)

  • If the recording is poor, the music will sound poor
  • The music sounds clean/pure and you feel surrounded by it
  • The music won't wash over your body like a wave, which is my favorite feeling with loud music
  • But most people don’t have the luxury of having just a music set up.
  • ok, enough low bass for any popular or modern music, at a very modest volume.

Reviews around thing (3.34 of 5)

  • One of the annoying things about direct BT connectivity is the fact that all other sounds get played through speakers
  • One thing I will point out if your not tech savvy then this is not for you.
  • Bought the Dialog as well in hopes of stabilizing things
  • By the way, this thing will easily dim the lights in your house when cranked
  • The Phantoms' ability to reach that low in one small speaker really is stunning! One thing of being point source is to superb focus to solo vocals

Reviews around bass (3.19 of 5)

  • It'll just get more ear-piercing, and the bass will be extra disappointing
  • Dad, the bass in this movie is literally shaking me more than this scary movie
  • We are not talking about loud, boomy bass, we are talking about controlled, quality bass that you can feel
  • I was tired of surround sound systems that lacked bass and had an abundance of wires to hide
  • I happened to miss the directional bass of conventional speakers

Reviews around bite (1.95 of 5)

  • A little bit expensive but it worth the money
  • It’s an odd hobby but one that I enjoy quite a bit
  • even so, it was almost unbearably loud and the house vibrated a fair bit
  • it annoyed me a little bit but the sound isn't impacted at all
  • Used it with spotify and noticed it did sound a bit more louder than Sonos Play Gen 5, but nothing major to me

Reviews around connection issue (1.00 of 5)

  • I solved all connection issues I was having by running CAT6 cable to each speaker and to the dialog.
  • connection issues on all attempts with devialet`s kind and responsive tech support unresolved.
  • It sounds just as amazing at home, although we did have some initial connection issues

Reviews around connectivity issue (1.00 of 5)

  • I thought I had found the solution, but after almost two weeks, I had the same connectivity issues manifest again
  • I had the same connectivity issues via wifi which made me question keeping them
  • From the very start we were plagued with connectivity issues, the speakers would (seemingly unprovoked) connect and disconnect from the Dialog at random
  • To be clear, others have resolved connectivity issues in other ways
  • I can agree with what you say with the connectivity issues through wifi
