It did the basic job in cleaning the disk but the disk still did not work

Does a really good job at removing scratches from music cd's and dvd's, but if the disks are badly scratched you must use it over and over again to get the job done

The price was right and much cheaper than at retail outlets.

It did save one regular DVD of ours, but the price of replacing the Blueray it ruined has left me rather angry.

One might find it cheaper to buy several of these repair system sets rather than buying the repair accessory kit as the repair system is cheaper priced at the moment

The advertising fails to mention when you repair a disc with SkipDr, it leaves clearly visible signs of its use on the disc

The SkipDr works as advertised, successfully used to repair several XBox 360 games that had light to moderate scratches

They also like to drop them, and scratch them as they put them back in the boxes.

If you are able to repair even a handful of disks, it's worth the money though.

i do not recommend this particular machine because it is suppose to remove scratches and unfreeze dvds but it doesnt,instead it scratches my 2 cds and ruined one of my dvds it is junk

And please note that the machine is only good for about 25 repairs

At first, I wasn't sure the machine was working, but watching the art side of the disc underneath, I could tell it was actually turning.

I am very pleased on how this crafty little hand held machine cause me to play my games and music cds again

otherwise, spend a few more bucks and buy a proper recovery machine like Professional DVD/CD Disc Cleaner and Reconditioner or Aleratec 240131 DVD/CD Disc Repair.

I tend to use a lot of the cleaning solution so end up making my own out of distilled water and 1% isopropol alcohol.

It is a relatively cheap solution that is the best I've found.

This SkipDr is a life saver when you have kids that don't understand how to treat a game or a movie on DVD.

The SkipDr really did the trick on those pesky scratches and helped our movies play as smoothly as when we first bought them

The SkipDr fixed my scratched Insanity DVD'S. I did have to run them through a couple of times but know they work like new

What this thing does is use a very fine grit sanding disk to buff out minor surface scratches, which in theory is fine but in practice... not so much.

Understand that only light surface scratches will be smoothed.

As long as one follows the directions (and this includes admonitions about not working well if too severely damaged, as well as if the reflective coating becomes scratched), it works every time.

While I found the product did buff the disc...the device is not designed for ease of storage, it feels and handles like cheap plastic

I know that it was a different design back then; instead of a fold-out disc guide, there was a larger plastic wedge that supported the disc

I foresee this breaking because it is made of cheap plastic and has small notches where it attaches.

I was able to fix my Wii Fit dvd that the kids scratched

The DVD I used was badly scratched, skipped/froze all the way

It improved a DVD or two but, not completely and theyre not destroyed.

I had tried everything to read and copy a scratched DVD to no avail

Flimsy, ridiculous instructions and most importantly the handle kept falling off if I could give it zero stars I would.

It took a few tries but it worked and now my kids are thrilled

it requires a little amount of physical work but cleans up grimy grand kid finger prints quite well.

My kids are pretty rough on their DVDs and Wii games and this seems to clean them up enough so they will play again.

Disc won't even spin when cranking the handle, therfore, the brush just scratches the hell out of the disc even worse

The reviews were right, this is a worthless piece of garbage

First product was missing a piece and had to be sent back.

Its a piece a crap and its going to scracth your disc so they can be readed by your players, I hate it!

It's a cheap piece of junk and it does NOT repair DVDs or games.
