I have a new desktop Mac with the ports to the back and found I needed a more convenient way to access the ports without turning the iMac around on my desktop (which is usually cluttered) to plug in.

I have used Zip-Linq retractable cables in the past and am pleased with them, but the products branded under the Tripp-Lite name offered a somewhat longer cable which would be handy on many occasions.
This cable is a bargain for an external USB DAC for pristine digital sound.
