Apparently it will lose the GPS signal and fly erratically, as in not wanting to respond to commands, especially forward

If you lose signal with the controller the drone will also return to start automatically

Expect to get a few hundred feet away while it's still visible and then lose signal and have to hope it returns home.

Only CON I found is when the signal is lost, it will return to you if you programmed GPS first, at the elevation it lost the signal at, so make sure your always flying above the highest tree or building, otherwise it will take the shortest course to "gps home" and fly into whatever is in its path.
