Make sure that you read the fine print regarding whether or not DJI's app is compatible with your current phone, else you'll either have to buy a new phone or their ridiculously expensive controller.
-
Nothing worked, the app just wouldn't let me go
-
It’s my first drone and it is so easy to fly, super compact and the app is easy to use and edit videos right off of.
-
Your app no longer works with any iPhone/iPad device
-
I have been using a Phantom 3 Advanced drone for two years and the app for that has been unreliable as well lately
-
The app is very unstable (it has 2* review in apple and android app store) : unless u buy the $700 version with physical remote, usability is tough.-> Battery life is 15 minutes
-
The app was easy to follow and walked through the process to get everything setup
-
Too slow with a mobile app, harder to control and can't fly too far.
-
They then informed me that "Oh yeah, the app won't work correctly with Google Pixel phones
-
App doesn't work
-
The "DJI GO 4" app is easy to use, allowing you to go from "Beginner" mode all the way to "Sport".
-
The app works and connects well to my ipad or ios devices.. but considerably very spotty trying to connect my axon 7 to my spark
-
Also, the DJI Go 4 app regularly freezes and crashes which isn't a good thing when you're in the middle of a flight
-
After upgrading my Android phone the problems with the DJI Go app have gone away
-
It does not appear to crash but rather the app just closes
-
the app and operation are perfect
-
app is easy, with a “learn as you go” approach
-
the wifi reconnected but then the app once again failed to allow me to fly, prompting me over and over to connect to a wifi signal I was already connected to
-
The drone itself is great and looks solid but the app you use to fly it is horrible
-
You launch the $500 drone and hope it comes back all because the app your forced to use is garbage because it crashes midflight and becoming disconnected!
-
The app they use for the drone also completely sucks
-
One star simply because the stupid app forced me to register via phone number which I
-
I wanted to love this drone as it was so small and nimble compared to the p3 I already own but to start things
-
Pros:- Not intimidating as it is small and has stable hover during flight
-
Allow me to explain the main cons of this Spark and also include pros at the end to be as unbiased as I can.*As a quick preliminary thought - with the 2 main cons I discuss below, the lack of a 3rd Axis on the Gimbal and being locked to 1080p 30fps - it feels as though DJI has intentionally held back this Spark drone so that it is not seen as a direct competitor to the DJI Mavic
-
the 1080 P is excellent (I wish it had 60 frames per second however)
