In fact, I liked the covers for the joy cons so much I ended up buying a second case just so I could get joy con covers for my extra set of joy cons
The joy-con covers I struggled with for a bit, but I learned to put the main part of the case on first, and then the cover piece snaps into place with a little pressure and fiddling.
My right joy con case seems a little loose and customer support got me covered right away.
As a result, I really only paid for the Joy Con covers.
It's a good case, but the joy con part makes it hard to press the buttons.

and I love the fact that it doesn't need to be removed to fit into the dock for charging.
I love the fact I can show off the switch I love how it looks in the clear case

My only issues with it is, due to some unforeseen error the screen protecter broke as it was being shipped, obviously this isn’t the sellers fault, it’s the people who had shipped it

The best protection is still to handle the console with care.
Looks good, feels ok, but in overall not the best protection in my opinion
Also, don’t love the controller protectors - a little big but buttons can still be pressedIn the end, protection is the number one goal with this product and it worked like a champ!
Recommended for those who are looking for a good protection and it slides into the docking station with no problems at all
if you need constant protection ( kids and/or clumsy) and dock your switch regularly this case seems to be the very best way to do it

If your not bothered as easily with the loose joy con face then this won't bother you
Updated review 4/27/18:Fyoung saw my review about the issue I was having with the right joy con case being loose (something I noticed others having issues with also according to their reviews) and contacted me, offering to send me a replacement, which they quickly did.
Tip: get the clear case if you like your colored joy cons :)
so it feels like my right joy con is constantly loose when docked to the display.
To my surprise they sent me a whole new case, but sadly the right joy con face was still loose, but the slight movement on the left joy con is fixed

As for the hard plastic case, I was originally much too gentle putting it on and didn't get the front plates on one of the joycons snapped into place completely
The joycons have a hard plastic shell with a nice guard to protect the Z buttons from getting broken in a fall
The plastic of the case is very smooth, so it doesn't feel as nice as the more textured actual body of the Switch, but after about twenty minutes you no longer notice it
