Both times, the shock feature works for a couple of days and then stops

There is a locking feature on the side of the remote to prevent accidentally hitting buttons, but i stopped using that during active training sessions because it slowed down my response time if my dog was doing something he shouldn't be

I barely have to use it now, only had to use the vibration and shock on the low setting a few times in the beginning, the beep is enough for my dog to listen

This worked until my dog swam a few times wearing it.

The shock only worked one time after that never worked, vibration is the only thing that works

He freaks out every time my kids go to the backyard and would bark incessantly until they came back and nothing had helped with this problem

I put it on a level 10 (which the manual claims is the lowest stim level a dog can sense) put the contact points on my hand, and had to press a good 15-20 times before it actually delivered the static stim, which at a level 10 was extremely unpleasant

It failed me so many times in such critical situations that I can’t give it a decent review

and I don't have to feel pure embarrassment next time we walk by another dog.

Did not like the power button too easy for my dog to turn off , every time he scratched at the collar he was able to turn it off.

He did get zapped accidentally a few times because of the unnecessarily proud orange button ( think pocket dial).

My dog is a very active dog and is really playful which tends to be a hassle when he gets lose off his leash because we have a hard time catching him because he thinks we are playing and he tends to run off the opposite direction from us
