  • but I'm extremely pleased with both the low profile, quality construction, and the fact is works as advertised.
  • This pedal seems to work as advertised, is built well, small footprint, and has enough control for me to make it function without being too technical
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly

Reviews around build (5.00 of 5)

  • It's surprisingly well built, easy to configure, and it does it's job well.
  • Switches are all high quality, well built and from what my ears can tell is definitely true bypass
  • Great price and works well l, but the controls are a little finicky.
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • The pedal seems solid, well built, it has a hard/soft switch which either gives you a slow or faster gate

Reviews around work (5.00 of 5)

  • Still, the pedal works great, has solid feeling dead quiet controls, comes in a nice box for carrying, powers off a typical Boss style barrel 9v connector, has true bypass and does not seem to color the sound or generate noise itself
  • Good work, Donner!Another note is that the hard/soft switch seems to be time-based oriented to the last time the signal crossed the set threshold before the decay
  • This pedal does what it says, it a beautiful small pedal and works flawlessly
  • It might not have quite the preciseness of an MXR but for the price works really well

  • Of course, I don't use the switch as it stays on all the time, but it is a great value.

Reviews around job (4.32 of 5)

  • So far with my extremely noisy setup its doing a good job just "cleaning up" once i'm done playing something
  • If you want a "better" suppressor/noise gate then you will have to pay a bit more for one of those fancier one's, but for less than 40 dollars, it does a pretty good job, just not so well with the distortion
  • It's surprisingly well built, easy to configure, and it does it's job well.
  • When it works it does a great job, but in my experience that is sporadic.
  • Not only does this thing do a very intelligent job of chopping out the noise in high gain situations, but it also is smart enough to clean up cheap amp noise/bad power supply noise as well

Reviews around thing (3.86 of 5)

  • I have an amp that's a little sensitive to my LED's paired with dimmers in my house, and this thing makes the amp dead silent
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • not an issue, for my needs this thing has been close to perfect.
  • This thing is very sturdy and is holding up great so far.
  • This thing just simply eliminates noise from my pedal board

Reviews around guitar (3.75 of 5)

  • but if you need a solution to all that noise your guitar is making between songs and you need to do it on the cheap, get one!Or if your guitar player is making you crazy get him
  • Works better than I had hoped with my p-90 equipped noisy guitar.
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • My only complaint is that the higher you set the gate, the faster and more abruptly the (guitar) sound gets cut-off.

  • Great stuff, great price, works perfectly well, super fast shipping

Reviews around switch (3.53 of 5)

  • too! This true bypass Noise Killer pedal runs on a 9v adapter, which is not included, features a hard/soft switch as well as a threshold knob for adjusting the noise reduction degree
  • I love that it has a "hard" and "soft" switch; it allows me to go from playing with a heavy overdrive on one song to playing completely clean on the next
  • Good work, Donner!Another note is that the hard/soft switch seems to be time-based oriented to the last time the signal crossed the set threshold before the decay
  • The hard/soft switch determines how abrupt or gradual the gate closes

Reviews around product (3.52 of 5)

  • Works better than I had hoped with my p-90 equipped noisy guitar.
  • So this is a good product, but the concept of a noise gate as a way to get rid of undesired noises is wrong.
  • Donner is a wonderful product I also have a few other Donner pedals and they also blow the name brand pedals out of the water.
  • and I wasn't really expecting a huge difference from such a cheap product
  • the product was out of its box in the envelope and the box badly damaged and considering i bought it

Reviews around sound (2.38 of 5)

  • It sharpened up my distortion pedals to the point where my crappy Crate amp sounds nearly studio quality.
  • I also fully disagree with the contention of other buyers that this pedal is 100% silent and doesn't affect or suck tone/sound
  • and I have to say I am very surprised, great quality construction and sound in a super small format
  • It started just cutting all sound and then progressed to a boost pedal - which wasn't all that bad to be honest
  • However, In the loop it reduces enough noise so that when I'm on the red channel and I turn off the guitar volume you can't hear the waterfall hiss sound in the background

Reviews around tone (2.04 of 5)

  • Do not put the pedal in the send/return loop like most noise cancelling pedals, it will color your tone like crazy
  • it squash my tone or take some of the touch sensitivity
  • The pedal also tightened my sound just enough to improve the tone in my opinion
  • Great tone after using this pedal without any unwanted noise
  • It doesn't cut off the notes or suck the overall tone if the threshold is set properly.

Reviews around noise killer (1.86 of 5)

  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • Great price and works well l, but the controls are a little finicky.
  • I really couldn't tell weather the noise killer was on or off when I was playing
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • For the price this is one of the best noise killer pedals

Reviews around hiss (1.69 of 5)

  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • Even at very high gain settings and using multiple effects, it just isolates the hum/hiss and pulls down the noise without causing any latency or loss.
  • Kills the hiss from massive gain/distortion, but still allows the cleans through when set right.
  • It has a small footprint and took a chance of cutting out the hiss and hum from my PA in which I'm running my keyboard through

Reviews around bite (1.69 of 5)

  • This one can be a little bit aggressive depending on the settings, and took a little time to find the sweet spot to get rid of hiss without cutting to much signal
  • The pedal is incredible small (I like it) and it works perfectly
  • This kinda will suck a bit of ur tone, but you can adjust it back
  • Pretty decent pedal for the price, but the noise suppression is a bit harsh in my experience, regardless of the setting

Reviews around feedback (1.44 of 5)

  • If you're playing high gain metal, don't trust this pedal to kill feedback
  • If I give it much gain or overdrive I end up with really bad feedback even if I'm all the way across the room
  • As a music producer one of the biggest problems I've have when recording Metal guitarist is that harsh feedback and string buzz that you get from the high gain and distortion and this pedal solves that problem perfectly and for a price that won't cost you and an arm and a leg
  • Great as always!
  • When I was a young guy I remember I bought a boss noise suppressor to try and kill the feedback I was getting from my Les Paul

Reviews around amp (1.38 of 5)

  • Works better than I had hoped with my p-90 equipped noisy guitar.
  • I am not a big fan of noise suppressors, they are a necessary evil when dealing with high gain and noisy amps
  • In the video demo I only used the gain on my hot rod deville, which is a very noisy amp when using the overdriven channel cranked, with the “more gain” mode selected
  • Using this for bass through an Ibanez ts9b into either a crappy practice amp or an Ampeg v-4b and it delivers exactly what it should
  • Great as always!

Reviews around buzz (1.00 of 5)

  • Everyone is familiar to some degree with the hum/buzz some guitars make when the grounding isn't perfect
  • If you don't like resting noise and ground buzz, this pedal is just as good as a more expensive noise gate pedal for the home player
  • Play with the knob and see the different ways it can kill the buzz
