THE FIRST DAY THE HOOK FELL OFF

Was easy to install, however, my 4-month old German Shepherd broke through it the next day

My Beagle broke through our bathroom door day 3

One day we found the latch part broke right off because it is made of apparently brittle plastic.

That lasted another day before it was ripped out

The white piece that the hook goes into is made of 2 pieces glued together and they aren’t attached very well since it broke the day after I installed it.

, so it's been through some hot days

Unfortunately after letting it cure to the door (48hrs) it broke the day after

Within 3 days of being put on the door both ends fell off and my dog then proceeded to chew it up

and it’s still as sturdy as the first day

Those days are over, and I win, thanks to The Door Buddy Latch and door stop

I thought I was going to have to get some high-tech, fancy dog-proof gizmo to protect the cat litter box, but instead the door buddy saved the day and the cat food in the bargain plus cat loves his dog-free space!
