The other pad is just fine on the door frame with the same paint.

It’s only secured by sticky pads so we will see how long it lasts but no issues yet.

This worked great for about two days, our puppy pushed the door to get to the cat and the sticky pad released from the door and pulled off the paint.

I contacted Door Buddies and they are sending me out a paint protector and new sticky pads.

I'm not sure what kind of dogs or kids these were tested with but with just a little bit of force, the sticky pad rips away and takes the paint with it

I followed the box directions and my dog was able to push her way through, which caused the sticky pad to break away from the door and took the door paint with it.
