The installation is very easy, but make sure there is one person on each side of the door until you know how to operate the lock appropriately

Adhesive is great, but the lock itself one of them broke from child still turning the door knob

And the adhesive is SO strong that it ripped all the paint off with it.

The adhesive on this product isnt strong enough ours fell off in a week after proper cleaning if the door and everything

I recently ordered a second set because the first set is working so well, but an hour after installing it, my toddler moved the door handle and the top of the mechanism broke off

One could presumably put this on the inside of the door, as a toddler is unlikely to have the dexterity to unlock them, although this may preclude you from making a quiet exit, and I cannot guarantee it will stay put if your little one decides to hang off of it

I was worried our toddler would rip this right off by pulling/hanging on it, but it holds great

My 16 month old hasn’t learned and isn’t tall enough to push the handle up to open, but when he does we will just put the top lock in place.

However, the lock on our garage/house door broke within a couple of weeks.

When you don't want it in use you can fold back the lock and the door works as usual.

The locks do come with instructions on how they recommend removing the locks without (or minimal) damage to the door.

This lock was so easy to install and has held up great.

Okay I bought the Safety 1st brand of this and my door handle couldn’t clear the clunky plastic of that one but THIS ONE
