Bass gets "scratchy" at higher volumes, moderate Bluetooth connectivity issues at distances/between walls that it claims to work at

I charged it fully paired my phone and everything was fine, but as soon as I started to play music the speaker would start to skip songs and it wasn't connectivity issues because my phone was right next to it
