If you like previous Dragon Age or Skyrim, you will love this game.
If you liked Dragon Age: Origins, or Skyrim, you'll probably like Dragon Age Inquisition
This is the best Dragon Age yet - graphics and storyline are well done.
And to be fair, this reviewer had played The Witcher 3 prior to Dragon Age Inquisition, which is a harsh comparison point because The Witcher 3 is basically better than Dragon Age Inquisition in every way so that may be hurting Dragon Age a bit more in my eyes.
If you love mass effect and dragon age, you'll be fairly pleased with this title
It's great to have a game that I feel is finally giving me my moneys worth for the nex gen console
In closing, Dragon Age is a good game and I would recommend it if you enjoy fantasy rpg games as there is plenty to do and you will get your money's worth
was so excited about this until I received it, graphics are cartoonish at best, storyline and narration is horrible and the gameplay is about as involving as a disney movie, which is good for a movie, terrible for a game, you sort of sit and watch it happen really... returning this after playing it for two hours, don't waste your money
Don't waste your money unless you know exactly what you are getting.
gameplay, then look no further because this game will blow you away with sophisticated character depth as well as long integrated quests, side quests, and other mini games.
The gameplay is good, I like the Dragon Age games and this one is a lot of fun
The gameplay felt repetitive - the first real explore-able area was cool
Pros: Graphics, story, presentation, customization, and great gameplay
Poor quests, poor gameplay, just a crappy version of Skyrim.
But I didn't like the combat, nor the loot system, or the exploration, or the story
Combat is fun, though there are no healing spells in the game, which is my main complaint
Awesome game, in depth story with great combat mechanics!
Main game: very good on graphic, dialogues, game controls, combat responsiveness, and overall plot and storyline
All that being said, don't get me wrong, the main game is very good, it has some good varied environments, good characters, a decent main story, solid combat system.
’s chosen or just a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Because there are so many ways to set up your party in the game and your decisions change the story, you can enjoy this game a second time.
This is my first time playing a Dragon Age game, and I love it
The first time a dragon nuked me from above it scared the S#@% out of me!
glitchy, i like the story to as point, but, man for ps4 you think you could do better, and there are activities in the game that a re just time consuming, and the reward is just silly.
These aren't game breaking, or super frustrating, it's just that you know this game could have been so much better than it was with just a few improvements
I haven't even killed a
At least the glitches aren't game breaking or data corrupting - unlike Medal of Honor
However, the issues at launch are not game breaking, hence only 1/2 point off of the score

Online gets a resounding meh, as it's painfully repetitive grind and lacks the depth of character development you'd expect if you play the campaign.
I find myself not activating Solas artifacts and making a note of where they are, so that I can gain back some lost ground when I keep doing things that makes him hate me
I found the story really quite tedious, and the grinding was mind numbing
After the disappointing overhyped grind-fest that was Bungie
If you like D&D, and played previous Dragon Age or Mass Effect, you should fit right in
So if I decide to take control of varric my archer, my tank won't attack or do anything at all untill Solas gets attacked
Unless your tank is constantly throwing taunts(which is impossible, the cool downs are waaaay to slow
I.e tank taunts enemy that attacks healer or rogue only attacks weak enemies or tank taunts all elite enemies?
You can set attacks and actions as "favorites" but it is nowhere near as expansive as being able to tell your mage "when I'm at 20% health, heal me" or telling your tank "Attack the enemy with the highest health".
Fighters, who can taunt enemies and deal a great deal of damage and wound enemies to weaken them and reduce their movement and attacks.
I liked the combat in DA2 and like the default combat in this game; however; you can stop play at the beginning of combat and choose which party member will attack each enemy somewhat like DA1.
Mages, heal, cast magic barriers to protect you, and deal elemental damage from a distance, freeze enemies to control the battle, or unleash area of affect damage spells
Using this power and influence, you can forge alliances across the lands of Ferelden and the never-before-seen Orlais, intimidate your enemies, and even cast judgement on their fates
Even when I played with other party members it would become hard to keep up with fast moving enemies and hectic combat becomes a mashed together pack of colors and wings
a quick google on my android phone or iPad usually solved the few nasty glitches encountered
Pros:Great storyline that will keep you engagedVery good graphicsAwesome character creationalmost completely open like skyrimThe ability to make combat fairly technical for the strategist type or more of your standard typeThe fact that it has dragons :0)Cons:A few annoying glitches that still
the dragon bane achievment is broken and there is some weird glitches but nothing game breaking
At least the glitches aren't game breaking or data corrupting - unlike Medal of Honor
And glitches, we all hate them and this game has plenty of them to the point of giving you a migraine
Points on why your comrades did what they did never tied in, why Wardens helped the bad guy in one region and were unnafected in another and so many other sub plots
great game can't be an evil guy though otherwise excellent except for the nagging loss of choice over previous titles.
Several plot points were never expanded on, things were never tied together and there is no way to know who did what, or why, and why you were fighting this lackluster evil guy you never feared the entire game
The story is pretty basic for this type of game (bad guy doing bad thing you're the only one who can save the world...) but what makes the game great is your companions and the people you encounter
Once in that area the maps are plenty big with a lot of bad guys, minerals and foliage to plunder.
The first time a dragon nuked me from above it scared the S#@% out of me!
and there I'm used to especially after fallout, but game breaking ones deserve one star.
Items are a bit hard to get in this mode also and a very limited amount of potions can be used
