I fly through rough drafts now, and I've found it's an excellent tool to power through writer's block and work out a plot or concept

She loves the tool for her school work and to surf the internet

Update: I had to come back and say that Dragon Naturally Speaking is a tool and as such tools have rules you have to learn, or even master

And I think it would be a great tool for someone with disabilities, limitations, or tired fingers.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking is pretty useful tool, however their user interface stinks.

I am losing my keystroke accuracy due to age and illness and this is going to save me a ton of time making corrections

The program is very accurate right out of the box, however, following the instructions will allow for greater accuracy

The only way it works as of right now is if I keep hitting the Dragon icon that turns the microphone on and off.

The accuracy was well over the claimed 99% and I am very impressed

Tech support is useless and depending who answers not pleasant to deal with

I reached out to tech support and got a couple suggestions

But a quick call to Nuance's tech support solved the problem

You will buy software and when it doesn't load call Tech support - I WARNED YOU !

I really do not have time for software requiring tech support to load it.

I am now typing this in Word 2007 and it seems to be working quite well

After an hour of being on the phone with Nuance and it still would not install I gave up, Do not waste your money on there home version.

Don't waste your money, turn on the free windows voice recognition and as crappy it is you can at least get something and proof read it

But this program, I have to laugh, it actually recognizes my crude voice and prints it out correctly most of the time

If anybody can recommend a good wireless microphone headset (or microphone) that I can wear with my bowler hat, I'd be appreciative!

The headset is of surprisingly decent quality, with respect to the microphone, but lacks adjustability, cord length, and becomes uncomfortable after a few hours

This software loaded easy on Windows 8.1 and worked quite well

I wish NaturallySpeaking would update the software to work with Windows 10

Since I do a lot of work on PowerPoint, Dragon is pretty much useless for it

every time I go into Excel, Dragon reminds me that my version doesn't work in Excel.

I believe the Dragon 13 is even better than the Dragon 10

I use Kingsoft Office and Dragon 13 does not support it

But if you hate to type or make many typing errors, Dragon Naturally Speaking is your remedy

My advice: use the free voice recognition program that comes with Windows.

There is NO option to skip this in the install process and NO option to uninstall this intrusive program

The previous professional version did not work with windows 10.

This new version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking adds support for major web-mail programs like Gmail (which is what I use)

Version 12.5 worked better but 12.5 doesn't work with Windows 10.

Did not download on my Computer which was brand new and a compatible version.

This is dictated from the least expensive Dragon home Version.

I am sitting at my wife's computer writing this review because the Dragon program messed up mine.

While this Naturally Speaking 14 program does all of its new shenanigans and spying, my computer freezes

I have uninstalled the program and tried t reinstall flash back in FireFox and still can't get it to reinstall a working flash player, so here I sit with a completely UN-usable computer!!!!

My computer is very stable and I am not messing with it

I've tried turning off the Commands portion, but that does restrict the functionality of the PC.BTW, it does not type curse words

As you work in a document the words, and sentences will become jumbled and you have to minimize the document and reopen to get Dragon to stop doing that

After several attempts, it finally responds, but with an error box that literally reads, "catastrophic failure".

I am not disappointed!After just a few 'training sessions,' the program correctly recognizes somewhere around 90% of my dictation - and that is while using the rather inexpensive (if not a bit flimsy) headset that comes along with the software

The headset, which I didn't really need (I use a stand-up mic with my desktop), is better than the old headset, too, though still a bit on the flimsy side

Once the status bar starts showing green, a little bit more encouraging, but then it starts the copying new files process - just be prepared to wait.

The Dragon English NaturallySpeaking Home 13.0 software is effective dictation software which could possibly be improved with a background noise canceling headset.

It does a good job listening to the user's voice while their is background noise.
