The headset and software works great!
-
The headset, which I didn't really need (I use a stand-up mic with my desktop), is better than the old headset, too, though still a bit on the flimsy side
-
Also, although this software comes bundled with a headset, I got better results with a headset/boom mic combination I already owned
-
but even with a better headset that I can't afford I simply cannot see that it would get to the point of being fast or fun
-
The headset included didn't work for me, I'm not sure why (hence the four stars), but it works just fine with the Rosetta Stone headset I already had.
-
One big improvement is getting a new headset
-
I am not disappointed! After just a few 'training sessions,' the program correctly recognizes somewhere around 90% of my dictation - and that is while using the rather inexpensive (if not a bit flimsy) headset that comes along with the software
-
BUT...they are happy to recommend that you shell out MORE cash for a better quality headset
-
Once you ditch the cheap headset it comes with, you'll be golden
-
Just because you think a headset is good doesn't mean that it is good for Dragon
-
Though I use my Logitech Wireless, It did come with a pretty sturdy wired headset of it's own

However the headset is the least comfortable of these options
-
I have used the "better" headset that came in the bundle from Amazon.
-
I am going to look into a reasonably priced dictating Bluetooth headset which would be extremely convenient
-
If anybody can recommend a good wireless microphone headset (or microphone) that I can wear with my bowler hat, I'd be appreciative!
-
She then informed me that the headset that was sent with Dragon is not compatible to Dragon.
-
But for the life of me I have yet to find any reasonably priced headset that doesn’t squeeze my head too tightly
-
The headset is of surprisingly decent quality, with respect to the microphone, but lacks adjustability, cord length, and becomes uncomfortable after a few hours
-
It did come with a nice headset which impressed me, so I'll give it 2 stars instead of one

Perfect for those lengthy e-mails.
-
That said, Dragon does improve as it goes, they say, and it can learn from your other written material, including documents and email
-
The only way it works as of right now is if I keep hitting the Dragon icon that turns the microphone on and off.
-
I know that this will help me with my side business as well as with my regular job
-
I have a figure named da Ponte, and it took about 500 pages for Dragon to learn to call him that rather than "the Ponte," (or maybe it's because I now exaggerate the D in dictating).

I am currently trying to dispute the charge with American Express because they won`t take the product back once it is opened
