Plus they will give you bogus software upgrade popups which is really an attempt to sell you something else, and I have not figured out how to turn it off.

If you are prone to slurring your words the software will learn what you're slurring means once you correct it by placing the proper word where the slur occurred

Cell phone technology on voice recognition far surpass this software.

Amazingly cool software

The Dragon English NaturallySpeaking Home 13.0 software is effective dictation software which could possibly be improved with a background noise canceling headset.

It's also the only viable option for most home users in need of speech-to-text; fortunately, it's a pretty reliable and accurate software with a gentle learning curve

When mistakes occur, the user is able to correct the software -- thus enabling it to 'learn' new words and phrases

this software is nice but incompatible with google so that kind of ruined it for me as I use google docs for everything.

If this is the best voice recognition software out there, we definitely have nothing to fear from our machine overlords for the time being.

This is the most frustrating software product in the world; My husband is in IT and cannot figure out how to get it to work.

The software doesn't work on my Windows 10 and cannot return

so far I haven't found anything it could do that the Microsoft software couldn't do as well, so I would just as soon have saved the 50 bucks or so that I spent on Dragon Naturally Speaking as a gift for my wife.

In the second part of this review will focus on how to get the most out of Dragon and voice dictation in general, I recommend following its directions as you will get better accuracy using this software

I went to the Chrome store and added a dictation box, since the software is made to work with Internet Explorer

Best results are obtained by continuing to speak and trusting the software, as the speech will drop into a queue and appear a few seconds later

I am a doctoral student and this software has been a life saver for me

The software is no longer fully supported by their primary OS (I get lots of errors about security mismatches, non-working features, etc. in Windows 10), and although they install an annoying perpetual "update" app in the background, nothing ever seems to get fixed

This is an awesome software package and is 95 to 99% accurate, easy-to-use, and has become an indispensable tool

I am currently trying to dispute the charge with American Express because they won`t take the product back once it is opened

That said, Dragon does improve as it goes, they say, and it can learn from your other written material, including documents and email

The only way it works as of right now is if I keep hitting the Dragon icon that turns the microphone on and off.

I know that this will help me with my side business as well as with my regular job
