    Dragon NaturallySpeaking Home 13

    • It constantly misunderstands words, forcing me to waste time correcting it
    • It doesn’t like words like very, very good (two of the same word repeated.)I just tried using Dragon in Final Draft 2.5
    • I would love to see the ability to do the equivalent of pressing Ctrl+U before the words you want underlined, say the words, and then press Ctrl+U again to
    • Since I'm a relative beginner with Dragon 13, I have some difficulty with some of the commands, but as far as words that are being dictated, I did not expect them to be in the 95
    • If you are prone to slurring your words the software will learn what you're slurring means once you correct it by placing the proper word where the slur occurred
    • I am fascinated by this product and the ability to interface verbally with my Word Perfect software
    • I would take 200 misspellings in my document that I typed over the wrong word choices that Dragon makes, because at least with my typos, I would still have my writing, the meaning of my writing, its message.
    • Will only "increase" your typing speed if you want to type nothing but curse words
    • Much of the time when you later notice something that's off you can tell the right word from the sound of what it put down, but that's a little risky--sometimes I go back to my source and check--and sometimes it's not possible to figure out what you said
    • It loads slow and jams up my Word 2010 office.
    • Simple words did not work, also curse words did not
    • It comes with a headset (which is preferred when using Dragon), but another computer mic can also be used (it works pretty good with my built in laptop microphone). It does not get the right words correct when I speak, but it gets the majority of them
    • I've tried turning off the Commands portion, but that does restrict the functionality of the PC.BTW, it does not type curse words
    • Dragon “correct” the word
    • It was easy to install and set up, and the software has no issues recognizing words, even ones that are colloquial or less common.
    • This program will actually accept the way we may be slurring words or just some words, but then you will have to teach the software by correcting it.
    • If you are prone to slurring your words the software will learn what you're slurring means once you correct it by placing the proper word where the slur occurred
    • could not install Dragon on a brand new computer with window 8.. no error or any information.. just a message that it could not install it!!After spending one hour on the phone with tech support, I had to download several Gigs files to install the system.. after all that, it now crashed office 365 word and slowed down outlook to crawl.. terrible product that I now have to un-install!
    • Does not transcribe every word accurately but it works good enough.
    • but it seems to pick the right word in context for words that are similar in sound like hear and here
    • I find that this helps somewhat--nd maybe a lot if you have a strong accent or quirky delivery--but I found it to be pretty accurate from the start--maybe 95%, or one error every 20 words or so.
    • Not only does it refuse to acknowledge simple commands like "Quotation Mark, easy words are not even registering with it
    • It missed words, got words wrong, (more to spare for more despair; business feel for business deal -- , on and on) and there was no punctuation
    • I would say that it understands 99% of what I say, including difficult words and proper nouns
    • Not only does it refuse to acknowledge simple commands like "Quotation Mark, easy words are not even registering with it
    • I AM a speaker and I have no problems with VR programs, even the Google voice on my phone has worked perfectly well since day one; unless I slur my words, speak too fast, don't time my punctuation direction adequately, OR try to speak far too quickly.
    • Did not work well did not recognize words
    • however it does occasionally type the wrong word
    • Dragon Bar occasionally misunderstands a word and displays wording that must be changed
    • As you work in a document the words, and sentences will become jumbled and you have to minimize the document and reopen to get Dragon to stop doing that
    • It will not work well if you do not know how to give it commands on where to go on a page, such as "tab down 2 spaces" or what to do such as "correct 2 letters" or "delete word".The system requires Windows 7, 8, 8.1 + windows server 2008 r2
    • I have a figure named da Ponte, and it took about 500 pages for Dragon to learn to call him that rather than "the Ponte," (or maybe it's because I now exaggerate the D in dictating).
