The straplocks themselves work really nice, however the screw itself is flimsy and the threading did not catch, meaning that I can't use it unless I find a screw with beefier threads that will catch.

Excellent strap retaining system, still allows for use of non-upgraded straps on the buttons
My strap slipped off but guitar fell only two inches is the reason I decided to buy these.
Found that other strap locks - you know the brand...well after a while the latch that goes over the button wears the plating off and then makes creaking sounds and metal against metal
So go ahead and order yourself these fine strap locks - with 800lbs of tested weight limit, you know your instrument will be safe

I like this setup so much more than the rubber rings or a strap that has a lock on it (I got a D'addario locking strap and the plastic lock broke after only a handful of times using it.)
The top locking mechanism is really loose and oversized
great locks was sort of a hassle to fit to the brand new strap i got for my bass but its solid
I prefer these because they are simple to use - just push the button and press into place; the Fender version uses a lock ring assembly that's cumbersome to use.
When both pieces are used the guitar is secure and is unlikely to be dropped
important part for expensive guitars, never leave home without em.....
The straplok system is a great concept; a quick release for your strap with added security to prevent your expensive (or favorite) guitar from accidently hitting the ground because the strap popped off
