These batteries keep lasting a fair time after the transmitter starts to read a low battery signal, which gives plenty of time to change a battery when it is convenient.

I like the packaging and the rubber cap on the top of the battery terminals.

You can tell the packaging was broken out from a bigger box because the bottom falls open and the box clearly states "Not for Retail Trade".
