Any Eagles or non-Eagles fan will love this

That complaint aside, THE VERY BEST OF is certainly a better choice than the pricey SELECTED WORKS box set and is the definitive collection for all but hard-core fans.

This is more true with trying to satisfy fans because music is so subjective, like all forms of art selecting songs for inclusion is always subject to the individual listener.

This is the ultimate Eagles collection and is not only a must for casual listeners but also for the die-hard Eagles fan

I couldn't think of one hit that was missing, although, I'm not a real 'hard core fan', as I only bought a few of their albums, first Greatest Hits and the Eagles Live - 1980.

But a great many fans have stayed loyal to them from 1971 to the present, and I dare say the band will have as many farewell tours as it has had Greatest Hits albums

The Eagles should do fans a favor by creating a special 'best of' that includes everything on this disc 2 beginning with 'Please Come Home for Christmas.

Add to that the unfortunate passing of Mr. Glenn Frye very recently and this collection is a must have for anyone that has ever referred to themselves a Classic Rock fan

As expected,been a life long fan,all the old standards very good,a few tracks seem to be going more into the heavy rock mode but all very good.

This two CD set is geared toward the more casual fan and maybe other people who are becoming more and more into The Eagles and their amazing sounds--and these fans won't be disappointed!

And even with being a die hard Eagles fan with all of the CD's, I'm still glad that I got this because it made it a lot easier to create the playlist for my MP3 player.
