For me, they ceased being the innovative group that they once were.

The Eagles" were a super Group meaning the members all came from bands that had prior success like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young so its not surprising that their song catalogue is so strong.

What leaves me in awe is that, while the Eagles are a household name, groups such as the Velvet Underground have yet to break through to the mainstream audience they deserve
