This is a beginner violin, and for that this set is a fantastic value

I found this violin to be an excellent value for the price paid.

and once you have your pegs in place (make sure to push the inwards as you tune it within a semi-tone) then another five minutes fine tuning

but once you secure them and broad tune they will hold nicely while you employ the fine tuners

Like most new violin, this violin need to be tuned (it's easy, just search in the YouTube) and the strings stay in tune pretty well

The fine tuning pegs are a little tight and may tire out your fingers, and I recommend filing the bridge because it is a bit high and didn't have notches for the strings

I'm not a violinist, wanted to give it a try and this will be a perfect starter for me.

This is a great starter package, I just wish they'd been more honest about the manufacturing materials.

This is a great starter violin for someone not looking to spend a bunch of $$ You honestly get a violin that plays in tune and comes with a carrying case, bow, rosin, and a chromatic tuner

The bow works very well and has a really nice look to it, as well.

I like to say that I have been giving these new Chinese brands a chance lately and have not been disappointed several instruments are made in China and are of great quality and several of the major name brands manufacture their instruments in there as well so the competition and quality has been improving drastically in the past few years

The bow is very nice as well, it took me about 15 minutes to get the rosin applied (take your time when doing this because if you apply it too fast you will met it and have blobs of Rosing all over and possibly ruin/waste your material)

The fact that you get a decent quality instrument for about $90 is usually completely unrealistic, but to add a good quality case, bow, extra strings, tuner, rosin, strap, and shoulder rest and still keep such a low price is just amazing!The violin itself is made out of a laminate wood with some good quality veneer to make it look very nice, as is expected with anything even quadruple it's price range or maybe more.

I'm not an expert but took my daughter to her first lesson with the violin and the instructor said that it wasn't that bad for the price as well as a starter musical instrument

All in all, it's a fine instrument for what you pay for.

I think that this product is a waste of money and I would just spend a little more cash on a product that is well made and that will last you longer than a second.

Now this product wasn't even worth saving or salvageable and it didn't even come with a bow to play it with

it came broken and so many pieces were missing

It came with all of the beginners essentials as well as overall good quality pieces.

Over all, this is a beautiful piece of instrument with nice finish and nice tone

I did not find this good at all the stings were messed up the bow was horrible

This isn't a cheap case, quality!!!

It came with the violin, bow, rosin, extra string, tuner, shoulder rest, and the very durable and very lightweight case - perfect for a 10-yr old

The tuner that it came with wasn't even worth it because it didn't work and the back wouldn't stay on

Another one of the missing items would be the fine tuner for the E string

It comes with everything you need to play, but the tuner is hard to use (we ended up having to tune the violin by ear to the piano)
