Great for larger batteries (C, D, 9V) but it can only charge 4 at a time

a NiMH Rayovac (3000mAh) or Energizer (2500mAh) which are both fake D cells and should be illegal.

I was using a cheap D rechargeable battery and after a week they started to leak.

My Second EBL 906 unit seems to work better on AA and C

I am completely happy and thankful for the great customer service

Instructions say this is normal; other customers noted the very same issue

I have charged four "C" cell Ni-MH batteries and the charger worked as advertised

I was using a cheap D rechargeable battery and after a week they started to leak.

Died after 3 months with one charge bay failing and the display showing "Error.

I like the display that shows the charging progress and can also serve as a battery tester.

Display is inconsistent, after leaving batteries in charger overnight it will say that one batter is only 2/3 full, and I come back an hour later and it says it's 1/3 full, etc

, I like how the design looks, charges pretty fast, nice digital display.

At $25 for a 4 pack, replacing all of these defective items is not saving any money over regular batteries

I would highly recommend this item to anybody looking to purchase an inexpensive yet versatile battery charger and rechargeable batteries as this is the simplest machine that I have seen out there.

This product worked well for AA and AAA batteries but did not charge C batteries at all

Defects in the more costly charger destroyed too many NiMH batteries, and poor product support from the manufacturer was what caused me to try the EBL unit.

Too many Defective products for the EBL 906 models are being shipped to customer

Updated: The merchant offered to replace the defective product and sent me some new batteries.

Great product recharges batteries faster than my other charger.

A little slower to charge than I expected, but this is not a big problem

Since slower charging results in longer battery life, I would prefer to charge at 200 mA, and this unit only charges at 1000.

The manual also says "When the battery is fully charged, the charger will turn to a trickle charge, the corresponding battery icon in the LCD will rest, and if all the batteries in the charger are fully charged, the LCD back light will be off" and this doesn't work either

Goes into slow trickle charge to avoid overcharging, etc.

The EBL charger is a smart charger that will protect your batteries

I suspect it's not just me, but that the batteries were just defective.

This charger works for me for all my M2cpower (good value) batteries.

I assume I have a few bad batteries or these are just junk.

I have bought EBL cells several times in both C and D size, and every batch have the same issue

and iI happened to get a bad batch, I have to give EBL 5 stars on Customer Service.

After I charged the EBL batteries with the EBL charger I placed the EBL batteries in my smoke alarms.

I bought these for my smoke alarms because I read that mine were probably chirping due to weak batteries even though the batteries weren't "dying"....

As soon as I placed the EBL battery in the smoke alarm, it beeped to signify that the battery was not sufficiently charged.

2sec intermittently humming sounds: I will keep this unit a little while longer to see if this unit will hold up) , LED doesn't turn off on 9V batteries neither

I've had good success with this product until recently it smelled like batteries gone rancid and a odd burning smell was coming from this charger I immediately unplugged not knowing if it would start sparking or not
