My toddler was so excited to open up his the My First Telescope to look at the Super Moon this week.

First we had to add washers in order to get it to tighten, then we spent half an hour trying to find something through it, when we finally did the moon was blurry

She is pretty upset right now because she really loves the moon.

I looked at the "super moon" and all I saw was a blurry white blob -- no detail at all

We have a more sophisticated telescope, but it's too hard for them to focus on something with it, so this fit the task well (only had 10x magnification, but could see a decent moon) to get them interested in looking at the moon

The moon is clearer to the naked eye.
