EK Tools 2.25-Inch Paper Punch, Large, Circle, New Package
Punch precise shapes that can be layered in perfectly graduating stacks. This ek tools 2-inch Circle Punch is a great basic to have on hand for scrapbooks, cards, decorations and any paper craft. Punched out shape also works well as a mat for photos ...
If you flip it upside down so you can see whatever you are punching out, you will get perfect cuts every single time
It's expensive, but it is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time
Punched one time and hasn't worked since, piece of junk, Amazon should kick the seller off for selling foreign mad junk, made in Taiwan junk, will try and return item, save your money and buy elsewhere

I prefer this brand of punches, however, if dropped it is very easily broken so that it becomes stuck in the open position due to the sides becoming misaligned.

I used this to punch out circles for our customizable award medals
I tried it with varying thicknesses of paper and no luck at getting a good clean circle
cuts a nice 2.25 circle, BUT wont work with Badge-a-Mint buttons because you actually need the circles to be slightly bigger than 2.25 (maybe 2.4?) to make a 2.25 button (you need it bigger than 2.25 because you need that little bit of extra circumference to wrap around the 'lip' of the button)
Not sure if this one I bought has a defect, however it does not punch an entire circle
