Removable plates makes it very easy to clean which is really nice as it gets difficult to clean waffle maker.

The recommended 1/2 cup of batter seemed to make an incomplete waffle, but more than 2/3 cup causes a messy overflowOverall however, this is an excellent waffle maker however and the removable plates and excellent cook far outweigh the negatives
