The features on this clock are pretty cool, but the display is so bright, the "night light" feature is pretty much unnecessary

If the main display wasn't quite so bright, it would've been awesome, but the reflection on my bedroom walls made it difficult to sleep.

If I reach over at night to dim the overly bright display, I'll accidentally turn the motion activated light on

The display and night light light level options are very good for those who want low, medium or high light

There are four dimming options for the LED display also

I keep in on the low setting and it doesn't bother me at night, but if you like a totally dark room, you can turn the display all the way off easily

The display is very bright and the lowest dimmer setting would be great, if all the lines lit up

some people said the display is too bright, even on the lowest setting, but i don't see how that could effect you once you close your eyes to go to sleep.as someone mentioned in another review, be sure you don't lose the directions, this clock has a lot of features, so it can be a little complicated.if i had to complain about something, it would be that the volume on the radio alarm a little loud for me, even on the lowest setting

But this turns out not to be as annoying as I first feared

It is bright enough to bother me as I like total darkness

I have liked this clock for the six weeks that it worked- completely nonfunctional as of yesterday
