With many in the current work environment this is a much better idea than a sticky note or bandaid.

and you want to be able to choose which people are allowed to watch you looked bored while you surf Facebook, this might be a good idea.

I liked the idea of blocking the webcam, you can't be too careful these days.

Small enough for cell phone use; perfect for my Echo Show 10; will work with laptop WebCams as well.

I enjoy the stainless steel look of them as well

They are small and I find tape works just as good.

Just as stated in the product listing, the webcam is thin and does not interfere with her ability to close up the MacBook.

It took me 1 minute to clean the webcam and 30 seconds to apply this

The price is reasonable, and you get a few of them in case the adhesive gives way over the years.

I would not recommend these for any portable device where they would be exposed.

The great thing about this cover is that it sticks and stays in place, but I wish there was an installation tool to hold it in place while you're putting it on

The little round piece is a little stiff to slide back and forth but that's really a good thing to know it stays.

How delightful that Amazon has presented me with a solution via their vendors: STICK ON COVERS.These ones don't slide quite as smoothly as some of the other ones I have tried, but that can also be a good thing because the other kind I have sometimes slide open if the computer is jostled

This thing protrudes quite noticeable and will scratch the crap out of nice metal laptops.

I'm hopeful that with time the slide will become smoother but so far, about a week's use in, it is still kind of jerky.

This Webcam Cover Slide was very easy to install, and works decently well to keep the webcam on your laptop, notebook, cell phone, etc

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it got a little loose while sliding after few uses

This webcam cover slide is easy to apply, easy to use, and it does the job quite well

These slides are easy to slip back and forth and are super small

I cleaned the area real well with rubbing alcohol and stuck the camera cover on once the area was dry.

Clean off the area around the camera lens before sticking it on

They stick on easily and peel off without leaving a sticky area if you want to remove them.

No more "always falling off" sticky notes to cover up the Web cam aperature on the laptop!All you have to do is make sure the area around your Web cam opening is clean and dry

The size caused no problem

This size here is perfect for bigger phones (closer to 6" screens) and laptop webcams

The bigger size also gives me more confidence in my privacy

one cover was almost impossible to slide open/closed, which i personally don't mind because i have a camera i want covered

This is a nice big cover that fits most on screen cameras

the last cover works just fine, though! not sure how well they stick over time because i only recently got them.tl;dr - to not much

my only issue is that the cover is very difficult to slide back and forth, and i worry about scraping my laptop and its camera

The adhesive is quite strong and I was able to re-seat the webcam once or twice before getting it exactly where I wanted it

The magnet sticks nicely with the added benefit of a strong adhesive

Useless, no adhesive will not stick to the surface you wish to apply

These are crap: too small, flimsy, & the “adhesive” is a joke.

The only thing I didnt like was that the part that would be touching your track pad is kind of rough so it definitely has the potential to scratch your laptop

Before they started making these, I used to use sticky notes to cover my device cameras; these certainly work better and look a lot better, especially the rose gold.
