I used to use Martins but they kept breaking as I use a multitude of different tunings
But before I pulled the trigger to buy a more expensive higher quality guitar I decided to replace the strings to see if the sound gets better
Don't "LOVE" them as far as tone, but I'll give it a break-in period and revise my rating if somehow my opinion of these "top of the line" strings improves enough to overlook the intital defect / poor quality I first experienced.
But the quality is so good, these sound better on first pick or strum than anything on the market
For a couple of days, they will lose their tuning quickly as you play, but then they are extremely reliable and stay in tune

I was putting these on and my bottom E and B string both broke with barley any tension on them at all
