On several occasions the clock would reset itself and hour earlier than the correct time resulting in getting up an hour to early.

Have not used the alarm functions but setting the time was a breeze because the radio/clock sets itself to the correct time when it is plugged in to an electrical outlet.

I had a hard time finding a clock radio that wasn't huge and bright

For the price, to get an alarm clock that holds time pretty well (36 seconds fast after maybe 6 weeks), has individual weekday settings for the dual alarms, and is programmed to adjust for daylight savings time, this is a good value.

If you don't know why a SmartSet is the best clock on the market, IMO it's because the alarm'll not only still go off if the power is out, but it'll tell you the correct time when the power comes back on
