The CTS speakers could be a bit harsh sounding at times, but the 1058's have a nice balance tone

I personally do not like the high gain tone of this speaker, but that isn't what it was made for

If you're looking for the classic Fender sparkle, you may want to look at Jensen or another brand, but you can't go wrong with these if you're looking for a slightly warmer tone.

Better tone, overall louder, and now a 160 mph wind can't blow the amp over... it's a tank!

Great sound for classic rock tones

If you are looking for a darker tone, I would recommend the Eminence Big Ben speaker as it tends to be less bright sounding

I think this speaker also sounds extra great when you start rolling the tone back to warm it up.

Overall, this is a great speaker that has greatly improved my blues tone.
