We also like the fact that the tripod extends upward enough to be able to get over the heads of the people in the pews and it will fit perfectly on our sound booth.

It can function ok as a tripod, and the height can be useful, but best used with a remote trigger or time delay shutter, its really shaky extended

she and I really liked the stick and distance/height it gave until the broken remote rendered it useless, she could have continued propping it up and using timer for all of this.
