2014 Tundra crewmax cabin air filter easy enough to do on my own.

The A/C pulls its intake air (on recirc) from the passenger side floor and blows up into the dash past the inside coil and through the ducts and out the vents

The cabin filter is fantastic easy to install fit perfectly and the air inside my car is much cleaner.

You can tell airflow by seeing which side of the filter is extremely dirty (air enters here)

so I don't see an issue with replacing it more often to have a cleaner air inside the car.

Don't know what else to say besides that it's supposed to keep the air inside the car cleaner by blocking out pollution and other nasty smelling junk and also help improve A/C circulation due to a cleaner filter

Since cabin-air filters are basically symmetrical (with flutes on both sides), it can be confusing as to the orientation of the filter.
