Been playing Ernie Ball strings for many years and they have been great electric guitar strings
I have already tried D'Addario NYXL0838 Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, Extra Super Light, 8-38
They help my cheap guitars sound a little better, but my main reason for liking these is because they’re smoother and less noisy when moving up and down the frets, IMO.
Normally love these strings, unfortunately each package had a weak string that broke as soon as it was mounted and tuned
If you like to play harder rhythm guitar, favor a bassier sound, and/or are used to playing on an acoustic guitar, I highly recommend them
These are good strings, they have a good tone and I like them
has the classic tone of ernie ball strings, really nice everybody
Perfect for dropped B tuning, and works just fine in standard tuning (although at a half-step higher you risk breaking the high E with some frequency).
They have a great tone and i am happy with all the different types of strings made by them!!
If you are planning to go with thicker strings for better tone then these should do you as well as any other
Normally love these strings, unfortunately each package had a weak string that broke as soon as it was mounted and tuned
I bought a set over the summer to put on after breaking yet another E string bending too hard
No doubt the best guitar strings you can buy and a great value as well !!
Perfect for dropped B tuning, and works just fine in standard tuning (although at a half-step higher you risk breaking the high E with some frequency).
I have been using these for many years, a very good value!
Normally love these strings, unfortunately each package had a weak string that broke as soon as it was mounted and tuned
Furthermore, they are affordable, so if you break your High E, it is worth putting another set on, as opposed to the one string
Perfect for dropped B tuning, and works just fine in standard tuning (although at a half-step higher you risk breaking the high E with some frequency).
A good tip is to use a light, bendy plectrum, which is pretty much essential for the top E (gauge 9).One caution: these strings are very stretchy and take a few hours to ‘bed in’ during which they go out of tune easily, especially the top two, so best not to fit them immediately prior to a performance
A three pack was a great deal from Amazon which means I have a backup pack for the same price of my local store (though I'm guilty for not buying from the local store).

I only tune down a half-step, so this set is just right for me.
Luckily I didn't sustain an injury, might have been a bad set of strings
Great price and a great sounding and smooth playing string set.

The G (gauge 16) is single-strand nickel-plated steel, like the B and top E, so light and bendable
Sound is not good and last e string just broken after tune
Furthermore, they are affordable, so if you break your High E, it is worth putting another set on, as opposed to the one string
The G (gauge 16) is single-strand nickel-plated steel, like the B and top E, so light and bendable
I recommend using these only on your electric guitars as in my opinion, the strings are just too light to give off the sound you'd want when placed on an acoustic

Bought a 3 pack & all 3 #1 strings broke while tuning on two different guitars and a #2 string broke also on the Les Paul, JUNK strings
