The arrows are nice, but I'm beginning to think I would've been better off buying a Valentine 1

In addition to long range warning, clear alerts, and all the features that my previous Escort units provide, the arrows REALLY work!

Not that I am an I-phone fan but just for comparison.-Directional arrow are delayed on changeover

On the other hand, if you have a Max or Max 2, unless pokey arrows are a must-have, there's no reason to upgrade.

I was extremely happy with both versions of the Passport 9500 but missed the Directional arrows of the V1 and this fit the bill for my needs

The directional arrows are great for the initial alert, but they are too slow to react when you pass the threat.

I love the arrows and the k-band range is very strong

The arrows are nice, not essential but nice and this is the only escort branded detector that has them.-Firmware upgrades without sending the unit in and they have had a few for the 360 and no doubt more to come to improve on known issues

The directional arrows work reasonably well although side arrows seem less accurate and far less frequent, for what that's worth

Max 360 puts you back in the game with upgraded DSP and dual antennae, directional arrows are a Godsend, there is a ton of customization options

I LOVE the arrows on the valentine and love them on this detector equally

Excellent radar detector .. filters false alerts extremely well compared to others .. has great range protection .. the locating arrows are very helpful to bring the awareness of the threat ahead .. would definitely recommend .. pairs with phone well

The arrows are slow the change direction with a known threat insite

Also this system is upgradable which I'm hoping ESCORT will take notice and fix the arrow lags and few bugs

Well, if the arrows gave you more confidence and made your commute more livable, then sure.

My feelings are mixed at best; directional arrows are definitely nice, but K-band sensitivity seems to be much higher (or filtering much poorer) than it was on Escort Max thus making Max 360 literally go

The only benefit this thing has over the 9500ix is the directional arrow

The good: arrows point out direction of signal, eliminate false alarms, heads- up warning of traffic cameraThe bad: suction cup does not sucks and keeps on falling of from windshield - very vexing, detection range is short, power cord is short

Good detection range, arrows are a little slow in changing direction but not a big deal.

The directional arrows were nice but the bottom line is when you see a Ka alarm do you really need to know what direction it is coming from if you are speeding

And I love the directional arrows.

The display is VERY faint and the arrows are almost impossible to see in daylight

I loved the gps functions of the past generation escorts, but I always missed the Valentine 1's arrows

Decent radar but ridiculously overpriced, the side arrows light up on both side at same time, rear arrow is pretty useless in my opinion,

the blue arrows seemed like a good idea i had a valentine 1

The arrows are absolutely worth it for me

Highly recommended as long as you can remember to take it out of your vehicle EVERYTIME
