With all the false K band alerts I would venture that the redline is more silent in general than this unit

I keep getting lots of false K band alert saying its from the otherside of the highway

, Im not sure my one working or not, but a lot of false K band alert, and auto stored some places with false alert

The Max series are GPS enabled smart radar detectors, meaning that they have the ability to remember locations and sources of X and K band false alarms and lock out future X and K band false alarms at those locations

At times it will lock up with a signal displayed but will not alert to future signals, and/or it will lock up while scanning with NO warning to the owner of the unit that it is not displaying threats until you happen to drive by an area where you know there are K-band false alerts

I was using a Bell V10 before this one and it was very annoying, especially with false K-band alerts, notably from lane change warning systems on cars AND every time I passed a CVS or Walgreen's

In addition, k band is unable because of blind spot monitoring system on 2017 Chry Pacifica, it uses the k-band frequency 24.200 +/-2.

However, this detector picks up K band like crazy, more than my previous detectors; I just decided to disable it completely
