It has the best windshield mounted radar detector performance there is
-
The price point is pretty stiff at around $450 and from my perspective, the performance was not as intelligent as it was on the 9500ix - which sells for the same price and has GPS.
-
Extremely disappointed with this escort redline detector it functions as its suppose to but speaker blew out about 2 months of use apparently you should only use it at low volume setting cheap Cobras have longer lasting speakers clearly lack performance though looked online seems to be a very common thing, for the price you'd figure they would use quality parts, now I need to constantly be looking at the detector to see if it's blinking or until I install an external speaker which I shouldn't need to buy in the first place
-
But overall, I do not notice a significant performance increase over the 8500X50 but only testing the unit for 3
-
The Redline has exceptional performance on all frequencies within the Ka-band, including 33.8 GHz (MPH Industries radar), 34.7 GHz (Stalker radar), and 35.5 GHz (Kustom radar)
-
THe redline has dual antenna but both are foward projecting which allows of axis detection at a superior performance compared to V1.
-
I have owned this detector for about 10 months now, and have had excellent performance.
-
I purchased the Escort Redline radar 14 December 2016 and enjoyed the performance of the radar while traveling on long trips
-
You can also update the settings to turn rdr off and segment ka bands 2, 5, 8 for better performance
-
Great detection range, great performance, works well!
-
Preferred Escort Redline Settings: (For better performance, longer range, faster responsiveness)Highway mode (auto reduces x & k band sensitivity & false alerting,
-
For this price, i expected much better performance
-
The dual horns really boost performance on K and KA band as the other horn takes care of the X-band
-
The performance of this detector, when matched with the Live cord, is awesome
-
A little expensive, but great performance.
-
A little expensive, but great performance.
-
At this price, the performance should be flawless.
-
, i have been through lots of radar detectors and this one is by far the best performance you can buy its worth its price for sure
-
(Lasted Two Weeks)The reviews regarding the performance of the Redline and which detector is better have been done to death.
-
Works as
-
It is fantastic in finding X band signals, and it doesn't ignore them as
-
Laser would work as long as you are behind someone and it hits someone else before you get hit to get you maybe a 1 or 2 secs to react and as long as you are not speeding at 90 Miles/hr ina 55 Miles/hr zone.
-
but I bought redline b/c of it's supposed highway superiority.
