It works, but the video becomes distorted, but at least saved 1 hour worth of wiring[Update]The seller refunded me without having to send the product back.
If you want a good predicable video feed, I recommend hard wiring your camera instead of using a wireless adapter.

I may have had a defective unit, it happens with any product
This unit caused massive static throughout my system, whether the radio/input was on or in standby, when connected
Would not work in my 06 Colorado, was told these wireless units are pretty susceptible to interference
When I originally tested the device, I hooked it up under constant power for maybe 10-15 minutes and the units got warm quickly as other posters have mentioned.
Unit clouded and is unusable once the cold weather hit and does not clear up in warmer dry weather.
I ended up using a hard wired connection for the job instead.
This camera works like a charm and simply replaces the 15' video wire you would have needed to run, great for trucks, SUV's and RV's that are longer than a supplied video wire.
Finally had to hard wire camera to monitor, with a connection at the hitch
I hooked up a hard wire from my cam to the display and that worked just fine
I will be looking for a longer cable and hard wire it in.
Update: the seller instantly issued a full refund when they found out it didn't work for me
