What can i say... best product for kick drum dynamics control

The bass player on the band used to complain that my kick sounded too mushy and was difficult to hear over the mix, but he noticed the improvements right away

I am in love with the elegant concept of achieving a good kick sound without stuffing anything inside of it

The Evans EMAD2 is a great solution for making an inepensive little kick drum sound just as good as the other band's setup (much more expensive kit!).If you're having difficulty finding a nice fat kick sound give this drum head a try!

Can make even a crappy kick sound nice, tight & thumpy.

So far this bass drum head has been delivering some warm bass kicks

I tried this on a little Sonar Bop 18" kick that was sounding a little boxy for me... holy crap, this thing sounds amazing

Go Aquarian Super Kick series or REMO PS 3.

Eventually the super kick got switched to a Remo PowerStroke 3

The emad 2 is thick enough to stand on at even tension (im 150 pounds) and does not form cracks due to stretsching as quickly as the super kick 2

These heads give your kick a fat sound and I like the option of using different dampening rings.

Putting a pillow inside and mic-ing the drum was an option I did not like--the pillow choked the sound too much and the kick did not sound lively.

Gives a great kick drum sound and very durable for playing hard rock and metal music.
