Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Head, 20 Inch

    • It has a superb tone quality that doesn't ring out like a tom, but doesn't sound like a box either..
    • Strapped this to a beat up, water damaged 1970s Japanese Stencil kit and instant amazing tone.
    • Excellent punch, deep tone both acoustically and miced (Shure Beta 91A, on a little rubber mat about 6" from batter head- nothing else inside the drum)
    • Love the tone.
    • Very nice low tone, warm, resonate (I still put a little towel inside the drum to give it more punch)
    • The EQ muffling rings deaden the head just enough to cut out the annoying overtones but gives such an amazing tone
    • It's a good product has a nice sound not the thump I was looking for but has a good deep tone.
    • The rings make such a great versatile sound, I don't need a pillow in the kick anymore, deep tones are great.
    • Excellent punch, deep tone both acoustically and miced (Shure Beta 91A, on a little rubber mat about 6" from batter head- nothing else inside the drum)
    • If you want adjustable tones for your drums this is the best you can buy, love these drum heads!
    • I don't think i will stray from the EMAD2.It's tone is superior to any batter heads i have tried
    • My bass drum has the proper tone that I'm looking for, has plenty of low-end, and the head is as durable as ever as well!
    • Been playing drums for about 4 years and this head has given my bass drum the best tone I've ever played on
    • This "O" ring is used to hold one of two soft foam "O" ring that dampens the over tones.
