Props to EVGA for making a great power supply for a decent price

Got it for a great price and has ample power to operate my PC.

this power supply has done wonders I can add more memory an graphics card and not worry about under powering or a faulty P/S. Bottom line mostly all Computer Desktops are under powered and some will cause a short and fry your Hard drive, or Video card etc a faulty P/S can cause lots of damage as per my case into further inspection it turns out the Gateway Desktop P/S that came inside the unit stock shorted out my motherboard

Initially suspected the unit was Dead-on-Arrival / defective as it didn't power up.

It is a gamble to receive a somewhat faulty product, maybe the cord end needs to be wrapped with a few layers of electric tape to make it a bit more snug inside

EVGA has begun to put their name on some really crappy, cheap products, but the PSU I received is not one.

This power supply fit right into my old Compaq Presario CQ5320F. Good quality.

It's possible this was an isolated indecent and these may be good power supplies, but dead out of the box tells me they have poor quality control.

Very unhappy with Evga's quality, no wonder this is the WHITE line of products.

The case its in has a shroud and good cable management, so the only visible cable is the 24pin

Awesome product for low price, I've had it in my pc for a year (it's a top loaded power supply in my case which means it's used as an exhaust to blow out hot air from my case rather than sucking fresh air in from the bottom meaning it runs a lot hotter and works harder) and it still runs fantastic with no issues

Bottom mount with fan up (inside warm air intake as opposed to bottom vacuuming) worked out fine.

I just built a new computer, while installing this power supply I had to press so incredibly hard to get the 20 pin connector in, that I thought I was going to break the motherboard

This power supply fried my motherboard completely after 2 months it malfunctioned and destroyed the motherboard

The unit is quiet and proving an extra 40W over my previous 460W unit but just as a note to anyone else with fan noise issues - replacing the power supply did not resolve my fan noise issues

this power supply barely gets over a wisper of fan noise

I don't have to turn up my music anymore to drown out the annoying fan noise

Some people may be worried about the "500W" limitations, but this is a very great PSU with Alot of stability and the ability to handle a starting gaming rig flawlessly, and will probably do good by you for years

This is comparable to scamming people out,, because when you tell buyers that you product works and they they don't- you are selling fantasy

I am very happy with this power supply and if I add a more powerful graphics card or an extra hard drive or DVD, I have several connectors for them and plenty of power to satisfy

also have nvidia gt730 2gb video card and 2 hard drives

I'm using it to power a PC with an i7, 2 standard hard drives, 1 SSD, and a Radeon RX470 graphics card.

My computer has 4 hard drives and 2 optical drives that all need SATA power connectors
