So I tweaked the fan settings on Precision XOC to high and adjusted the "Power Target" to around 50%... this would buy me at least 10 min of extra gameplay - but still wouldn't fix the heat issue

The worst part about this card is 1080 1070 1060 all have heating issues

Update 7-14-17Unfortunately this series of video cards have extreme heat issues.

If you get this card, know that EVGA has updated the BIOS to make the fans spin faster to try and fix the heat issue which negates the value of the ACX 3.0 "quiet" cooling.

Make sure you have a great air flow case or you will have over heating issues.
