The texture is like matted rubber, but doesn wear that way at all
But, not only did it come with a mini screwdriver, but the texture of the face is like a smooth slightly fuzzy baby butt
Mine came with some of the screw in tubes snapped off however it still fits perfectly and has a soft and smooth texture (that isn’t real wood obviously) that makes the controller look better and feel better

Great product, it’s very easy to install, it only took me a few minutes, it looks and feels awesome, I recommend using the little screws that come with it tho, originals are slightly thicker
